For customers inquiring about the thickness of our Schist Stone Walling and Corners, it is typically measured from the front of the stone to the back of the stone, corresponding to the required footing for support.

At Alexandra Stone Quarries, we offer a range of thickness options specified by architects or builders, including 180mm up to 250mm. We can also guillotine cut stone to 150mm and cut down anything below to any width using our diamond saw, but please note that schist cut down from 100mm requires an approved backing board.

Our experience has shown that 40mm veneer schist strikes the perfect balance between cladding weight and cut veneer stone fragility.

For all your Schist Stone Walling needs, trust Alexandra Stone Quarries to deliver high-quality products and expert advice.
